An alection, which is a formal decision-making process by which a person selects a distilled beverage to quench one’s thirst, should be taken seriously but many, sadly, don’t. Though most people make their choice on the basis of personal taste, many are wrongfully driven by other factors like whether it is vouched for by a prosperous neighbor or whether there’s an enticing cleavage on the cover. Then, there are some undecided folks who simply go with what an accompanying friend decides. What a shame. And, there are those who do not show up at the liquor shop at all and indifferently discard their right to choose. What laziness!
